About Playerscout AI

A full overview of the platform, features, token economy, pricing, safety posture, and limitations. Read more

Playerscout AI is a 24/7 AI scouting copilot for youth soccer players, parents, coaches, and clubs in the United States that pairs a verified MLS NEXT and college coach contact database with AI-assisted film review, outreach drafting, and a $PLAYERSCOUT token rewards economy on Solana.

The problem it solves in youth soccer recruiting

American youth soccer recruiting rewards families who know the calendar, the leagues, and the coaches. Most do not. A player's best highlight clip often sits unused because nobody knows which programs are a realistic fit, who to email, or what that email should say. Traditional recruiting services fill that gap at a cost that puts them out of reach for most families. Playerscout AI compresses the same work — evaluation, targeting, and outreach — into software the player and parent control, so a first contact can go out the same day the clip is ready.

Who it serves

Youth soccer players aged 13 and older who are targeting MLS NEXT, ECNL, USL Academy, Girls Academy, NCAA Division I, II, or III, NAIA, or JUCO rosters. Parents and guardians managing a recruiting timeline — players under 18 require a parent or guardian to register and supervise the account. College and academy coaches building prospect watchlists. Clubs and independent scouts evaluating a talent pipeline.

Get Scouted: highlights to scouting report to outreach

Get Scouted is the core workflow. A player links a YouTube or Hudl clip or uploads footage directly. The AI returns a position-aware evaluation covering tendencies, technical strengths, growth areas, and comparable benchmarks across MLS NEXT, ECNL, USL, and NCAA pathways. From that report, the outreach composer drafts emails aimed at specific programs, referencing the coach's own context rather than sending a copy-paste blast. Nothing sends automatically — the player or parent reads and approves every message.

The verified coach database and how it is sourced

The coach database covers MLS NEXT, ECNL, USL, and NCAA Division I, II, and III programs. Records are compiled from public athletic department directories, published league rosters, and verified user submissions, and each record carries sourcing notes so you can see where a contact came from and how recently it was checked. Coaches can request removal at any time by emailing scout@playerscout.ai. Access to the full database is a Pro feature.

Scout Chat, Watchlist, and Train Scout

Scout Chat is streaming AI chat for the questions that surround a recruiting cycle: how one league compares to another, what to prepare for an ID camp, when contact periods open, whether a target list is realistic. Watchlist lets coaches, scouts, and parents track prospects with their own notes and refresh evaluations on demand; the free tier holds three prospects and Pro is unlimited. Train Scout is the contribution loop — users rate and correct example evaluations, which sharpens the model, and earn $PLAYERSCOUT for the work.

The $PLAYERSCOUT token economy, explained plainly

$PLAYERSCOUT is a fixed-supply utility token on Solana. You earn it by training the scout. You spend it by recycling it back to the treasury to redeem credits or a month of Pro; recycled tokens are burned and never re-minted, so the supply only shrinks. That is the whole mechanism. It is a way to pay for product usage with contributed work instead of cash — it is not an investment, it carries no yield, and nothing about it should be read as a financial return.

Pricing in full

Signing in with a Phantom wallet grants 10 starter credits free, with no card required; the free tier includes limited Scout Chat and a three-prospect watchlist. Pro is $25 per month via Stripe, or 1,000 $PLAYERSCOUT recycled per month, and unlocks the verified coach database, AI outreach composer, AI film review, unlimited watchlist, priority chat model, receipts, and a Pro badge. Additional credit bundles can be purchased in USD. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time. Stripe Pro purchases are refundable within 7 days if fewer than 25 paid credits were used, unspent credit bundles are refundable within 7 days, and token recycles are non-refundable because the tokens are burned.

Leagues, divisions, and geographic scope

Coverage spans MLS NEXT, ECNL, USL Academy, GA Cup, NCAA Division I, II, and III, plus NAIA and JUCO pathways. The platform is United States–focused at launch, and the recruiting calendar, eligibility rules, and coach data all reflect the U.S. system.

Safety, eligibility, and COPPA posture

The minimum player age is 13. Players under 18 must have a parent or guardian register and supervise the account, and outreach on a minor's behalf runs through that supervised account. Playerscout AI does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 and does not sell user data. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

How the AI reports work — and their honest limits

Reports are produced by coach-prompted models benchmarked against evaluation examples, including the ones contributed through Train Scout. They are still AI-generated and can be wrong: verify factual claims — club names, seasons, statistics — before forwarding anything to a coach. No platform can guarantee a roster spot, and Playerscout AI does not claim to. What it changes is the quality, targeting, and volume of outreach a family can realistically produce. Coaches still decide.

Company and technology

Playerscout AI was founded in 2026 and is headquartered in the United States. The product is built on TanStack Start (React) with a Supabase backend and Solana wallet authentication through Phantom.
